Gicle'e Roll or Gicle'e Crate?
If you wish to take a little bit of Maui home with you, we ship rolled up prints in tubes for free! Yes, in fact, you save 33% off the already low stretched, finished price so you can find a framer you like when you get home. We even include a short write-up on how to do the most popular gallery wrap.
If you'd prefer however to have us do the framing then we will crate and send it for the cost of the shipping plus $20 to box and/or crate the print and wrap it for safe shipping.
A print that is 20" by 30" uses a crate that is 20lbs and measures 24" x "34" x 4 inches and costs $52 to ship via the US Postal Service. A print that crates up to be 60" x 30" x 4" and weighs 40lbs will be about $108. We build custom boxes to handle smaller prints in tht 12" or so category and basically try to help minimize the cost incurred by you. Unfortunately, large prints over 3 feet by 3 feet become freight and must be shipped from Hawaii - not only taking more time, but the post office charges a $100 drop fee. To ship a 6' by 2' piece, expect the cost to be somewhere around $200-250.
More information can be found online at the post office's website or you can let us know if you prefer FedEx or UPS and we'll be happy to coordinate the shipment.

To Stretch, Float or Traditional Frame?
Images printed on canvas with our special coating do not require the normal layer of glass to protect the image from fading. Instead, we use an environmentally friendly coating that locks in the ink and protects it from UltraViolet(UV) rays and moisture. A huge benefit to the giclee canvas without glass is that it eliminates reflections of lights, windows and electronics in rooms. A canvas print can be mounted flat and framed without glass, or stretched around a frame showing off the mirrored border creating an attractive piece that stands out into the room.
Float frames are a traditional wood frame that floats a short distance out from the edges of the stretched canvas giclee artwork. We offer two choices of float frame, Black and solid Koa wood. Float framing can be done at most all reputable frame shops.
While most of our clients love the clean, sharp look and feel of the 'Gallery Wrap', others look to match their existing art collections with traditional frames with or without glass.
Metal prints come in a floated frame with black edging, do not require stretching or further framing.
